Teagan playing with the cat

this one is also from tonight. i was putting stuff away in the bookshelf in the living room and she saw part of the cat toy, so of course she had to have it. cant believe she saw it to begin with. well instead of opening up a new toy, i convinced  teagan to go and find Ollie's current toy on the ground. so here is a little clip. i missed the best part though. we were on the stairs and teagan was waving it around and was trying to get him to come like the dog. she would say, "oyyyyyeeee. come!... (silence and waiting) come!" it was too funny. by the time i got away to get the camera she wouldnt say it unless i told her to. plus ollie was done playing with her (as you will see why in a minute) and had already started to run away... i would too if someone was coming at me flailing around some feathers on a stick at my head!

poor sick teagan, again.

it couldnt happen at a worse time!! We are leaving for vacation in a few days and teagan and both of us have been sick for a few days now! Teagans runny nose has sort of gone away, but now she has goopey eyes, and i cant get her in to see the doc yet. Michael isnt sure if it is viral or bacterial, or if it is pink eye. only time will tell. well i am going to try to get her in tomorrow if i can, otherwise i will try to get some Colloidal Silver. it is some natural remedy for pink eye, or bacteria in the eyes. they dont seem to be bothering her, but it just worries me. she has been a good sport, the first hour and last hour of each day is the worst. in the morning she is so contested with snot and a cough, she is just miserable until she can get it all out of her. after that, you would never know she was sick, aside from the occasional cough and runny nose. her appetite hasnt been the greatest, but i think it is because she is teething. one little one popped through on the bottom and i think there are others not far behind. she is still drooling like crazy.

well, here is Chris trying to entertain her earlier tonight while i am making dinner. she is obsessed with trains and always requests to see them on the computer. earlier in the week she actually sat at my computer by herself watching random train videos (both cartoon and home videos). i just kept getting up to pick a new one to play. it was kind of annoying because they are like only 2 to 3 minutes long so i couldnt get much done anyways. but it was nice that she could entertain herself for a bit.

Another Tooth!

Finally!!!! i felt another tooth coming in on Teagan (this will be her 7th tooth). it is coming in on her bottom left, next to her bottom front tooth. i have a feeling the other bottom teeth and molars are not far behind. this isnt the tooth that i can see from the front (eye bottom tooth), so i think that one might be next, along with some molars that are making her gums bulge out on the bottom! it is about time, she has had 6 teeth for like 6 months!

Happy Father's Day

We went to the dog park today with Bry and Teagan. They had a good time, and after all that walking around we stopped to get some yummy ice cream. Teagan still isnt extremely thrilled about it yet which is fine with me. she does better with the soft serve stuff that you eat with a spoon.

18 month checkup

well we went in for Teagan's 18 month checkup and everything looks good. She has slowed down growing (mommy's jeans are kicking in). Teagan checks in at 32.5 inches and 23.13 lbs. her height is in the 75% range and her weight is in the 50% range. She was a little sick when we went in so i was scared that they wouldnt give her her shots, but the doc said it was up to me. so we did them. She was fine. she is getting braver though, only cried for a little while. it must have hurt afterwords because she was kind of limping around, so i gave her some baby tylenol.

The doc was very impressed with all her words she was saying and that she could put a few of them together. so that is good to know she is on track. i asked her about Teagan's teeth, and that she still only has 6 of them, she said not to worry, the norm is so spread out that it is hard to say much of anything. also she said no deet in the bug spray (as she was noticing all her mosquito bites-they loooove teagan!) i told that to Julie, my neighbor and Kim my friend who both have 1.5 yr olds and their ped said it was fine as long as it was under 10% deet. interesting... i guess it must be an opinion thing.

well we have discovered that when teagan says; shirt, sit and sheet, it comes out like s-h-i-t. and when she says frog or fork it sounds like f-u-c-k. it is really funny when she is calling the frog!!! can you imagine?!?! for those of you who have herd her call toby, you will know what i mean. i am still working on getting these laugh-out-loud moments on video, but it is getting harder and harder. i almost have to hid the camera, otherwise as soon as she sees it she wants to "see" her picture that she thought i took.

this one is from tonight when i got home from work. Teagan was being really silly. she is in the habit of calling my name constantly so i started calling her name and she found it hilarious! by the time i got the camera she was done with that game and decided to beat me up. she bit my cheek after i got done changing her diaper and then you will see in this video her beating me up some more.

Teagan's first wedding

My cousin Katie got married this past sunday at Strawberry Creek. it was beautiful. We all had a wonderful time, including Teagan....

dont worry, she was fine. i think the girls reaction scared her more than anything. Teagan was back on the dance floor in no time.

fashion show!

Chris' aunt kathy got teagan some tutus. i got her to try them on last night. it was so cute. i was trying to get her to do little poses, but it was a little hard to get that concept across. all teagan wanted to do was for me to take the picture and then show it to her. well since i have no more room on here for pictures all i can post are videos, i had to get some. teagan wasnt too thrilled with the idea, she wouldnt settle for anything but looking at herself after i "took a picture". so the videos are not that great, but at least you can see her in her tutus.

Visit to Great Grandmas!

we went to my grandmas house (Teagan's great grandma) on Saturday. it was so hot i brought over our new water toys for the hose. Teagan loves them. she is still kind of scared of the shooting water, but she likes to get wet.

chris is getting her used to it. entertaining. was waiting for him to slip and fall...

last weekend water fun.

Teagan got to play in the sprinker for the first time. she had fun with it for the most part. she was a little scared with it splashing her in the face, but after a while she got used to it.



she loved aunt andi's pool. she kept getting in and out, in and out. then we had these cups and all she wanted to do was pour it down her shirt or out of the pool. i dont know what to say...



at our house, chris got me some mulch for our flower beds. well we were watering and Teagan had to help, so she figured it out... what did we do, now she has to do it ALL THE TIME. i tell ya, if you dont have two of something when you are working, you will hear about it or have to sit there and watch Teagan try to do it at 1 mile and hour!!
