Bath time for Toby!

It has been a while since Toby has had a bath and he desperately needed one before his fur got too long and matted.

Teagan decided she would help me out. I think she really just wanted to get in and take a bath herself. 

Poor toby, not a big fan. Though he jumps right in the tub when you ask him, so he must not think it is that bad... 

 Time to dry off!!!

 Teagan helped me brush (torture) Toby to get some of his fly away hairs before they ended up all over our house!

still not sick of those balloons!!! it is the first thing i play with in the morning.

I am learning how to take pictures with my new camera aunt Jessi, Uncle Erich, and Bry gave me for my birthday.

 We had the whole upper section and lower section of the building. It was quite large.

Teagan had a great time walking around with her birthday balloons attached to her. 

 Teagan was enjoying her freedom to walk around wherever she wanted. I couldnt keep her in one spot!

Bry was showing Teagan how to do a somersault!  only she kept trying to do it right at the edge of the mat so if she did make it over, then she would be on the floor.

 Yum, yum cake!!! She didnt dig in as much as i was hoping. not sure if she was not hungry, the cake was too firm, or there were just too many distractions for her to concentrate on eating. i was dissapointed she didnt dig right in. i thought for sure she would since she is normally such a messy eater.

 I took the bottom half off the cake thinking maybe it wouldnt look so intimidating and she would dig in more..... no luck.

Teagan had fun the other day just playing around in her wagon. going in and out, in and out. she was in there for a good hour. i put a blanket in there thinking she might want to take a nap in it....

Finally!!!

There is a tooth in Teagan's future!!! I noticed it last monday. It hasnt seemed to come up that much, it is moving very slowly. You can barely see it, it is easier to feel than see. it is her bottom right front tooth. It doesnt seem to bother her and she doesnt seem to be acting much different, good for us right?

Today I am going to try her out on some organic whole milk!! So we will see what happens.

Saturday was Teagan's first birthday party. it went very well and she must have been a good girl so far because she got soooo much stuff!!! i will get around eventually to posting the pictures. right now i am just focusing on figuring out where to put everything and trying to go through her closet and switch out all her clothes that are too small.

Monday we were outside playing in the leaves and had just enough for Teagan to play in, though she wasnt all that interested in it...

We rode in Rob's jeep on the way down. notice the great packing... the card table on the hood and the extended luggage rack on the back. we still managed to fit 4 people inside!

We forgot to pack a can opener so Rob opened the cans with a crow bar...
