Slide Time

The houseboat has a slide. sooo nice. expecially since it is soooo hot outside. today it was a high of 92, the coolest day yet! So we have to frequently go in the water, though the water is quite warm itself. The slide is a nice addition, and convenient to get in the water when playing games up on the top deck.

There goes daddy!!!!

Diving head first.
I have several other pics of the rest of us going, but for some reason this computer kept booting me off when i tried to load more than these two.

Goofy times

We were just hanging out in the kitchen this morning playing with teagan before she had to go down for her nap.

Sporting cousin Jamie's hat.

now she has Jamie's bandu and sunglasses.

goofy girl

she just couldnt keep her hands off those sunglasses

my little cutie patootie!!

Monday-poker time

We were playing sequence and Teagan just had to get in on the action. She is my little poker player. Whatever to keep her occupied, right.

Silly girl!

I would rather eat the chip than play with it...

Hang out with Jamie

Second morning on the boat! Second cousin (but we will call her aunt) Jamie, fed Teagan her breakfast.

yum, yum bottle!

Teagan playing with all her toys.

Teagan taking Jamie's blood pressure. My little doctor. she can support me and chris when we get too old.

have to check her heart.

First big Meal

We each picked a dinner to make this week. Me and chris picked ribs and potatoes. We cooked for about 3 hours. This was the first batch of the individual wrapped ones in foil (chris' mom's recipe-baby back ribs, little salt and pepper, some bbq sauce and a little beer in each aluminum foil pocket) i wanted to do my ranch potatoes that i made for teagan's baptism, but at sams club they didnt have any of the powdered ranch so we used some lipton onion powder mix. They turned out okay, not as good as the ranch.

we bought 3 big bags of baby back ribs from sams and i thought there were only 2 racks in each bag, but when i opened it up there were 4! so needless to say we cooked 12 racks of ribs last night!!! this was about half and then we just put the rest in one of these foil pans and just dumped bbq sauce and covered with foil and put on the grill to cook for an hour and a half. we didnt even touch the second batch (i didnt take a picture with my camera). needless to say we have about 6 racks of ribs in the fridge now.

grandma feldmann and teagan chilling out on the couch. it was waaaaay past her bedtime, i think about 9:30ish and she was just so calm and relaxed.

" i am not going to bed she says, not until you go first!"

Teagan's 1st Pedicure

Aunt Dani decided to give Teagan her first pedicure. she had some neon pink polish. Teagan did really good and held still for her.

Look at her little toesies. I wouldnt have thoght there would be anything to paint.

Look Teagan's feet match aunt dani's.

Here is a better picture. the color doesnt get blown out from the flash in this one...

Lunch Time

Great aunt barb feeding Teagan for the first time. i think more got on her face than in her mouth!

Messy messy carrot/pear face.

Silly Teagan, having fun laughing at Barb.

Getting ready for a nap after a full day of fun! Though she faked us out because she didnt end up taking a nap for about 3 hours after this picture. i think she got her second wind just like her mother....sorry kid!

Party in the water

Everyone is drinking, including Teagan. It was sooo hot outside, we have to stay in the water just to stay comfortable. The water is sooo deep and warm. The water is 72 foot deep off the back of the boat and we are only like a quarter of a mile away from shore. The water feels like bath water, it is almost too warm, not that refreshing. There is actually a current in the lake. If you just let yourself float out back you will float away.

Teagan and Chris in her new floatie. Of course i had to buy another one even though she has like four i think. but this one an adult can float with here. i figured that would be best since we wont be able to touch the botom and keep an eye on her. She had a good time.

Aunt Dani and Teagan. We just put on her new swim suit with the built in floaties... not a big fan of teagan's. You should have seen us trying to get her in there. The suit is actually for 20-33 pounds and i dont think teagan is 20 pounds yet. but i cant imagine putting a 33 pound kid in this suit, she barely fit.

On top of the boat

enjoying the view. Teagan liked it too!

Out in the middle of nowhere!

Top deck. This is where we have spent most of our time playing games and drinking.

Teagan's turn driving the boat.

First full day on the boat

The dads making breakfast, sausage and potatoes!! yum.

Jamie giving us a dance in the living room.

Just us hanging out in the living room.

Teagan playing with her Christmas present that Cousin Tosha bought her. She loves her little train. her favorite part are the little "beer cans" as chris would call them. She shakes them up and loves to make tons of noises.

Export Light, Yum!

Jamie and I were on the floor drinking some beer while we were driving the boats around trying to get everything situated. We gave teagan an empty can and she had a ball with it! Me and Jamie were laughing soooo hard at her faces she was making. the pictures just dont do justice! i should have video taped it but i didnt think of it. She would squeeze the can to make it crinkle and her eyes would bug out of her head and she would concentrate so hard and get so tense she would get like a tripple chin! It makes me laugh just thinking about it...

Teagan checking the place out

We arrived at the houseboat at about 3:00 in the afternoon on Friday. I hung out in the boat and let Teagan stretch her legs while Chris brought everything in. It was 101 degrees according to our car thermostat here in Arkansas. Soooo hot!

Teagan had been crawling around and when i looked at her knees and feet, and they were almost black!! yuck. i started wiping down the floor and the guy that works here said he just mopped before we got here. Yeah right, i guess that is the job of a teen boy!

Crazy Teagan hair. She was getting crabby so dani started brushing her hair and it did the trick. My little spikey head!

Washing the floor with her knees and feet.

Bass Pro Shops MO

We always stop at bass pro shops on our way to the houseboat. It is a tradition! Teagan's first trip at Bass Pro. We had a lot of firsts so far on this trip so you better get used to me saying "Teagan's First..." :)

This is a real live alligator at the store. he was opening and closing his eyes.

Dont mind my arm pit! I was trying to get Teagan to smile with her little camo hat! we were playing dress up with all the camo stuff. I wanted to get her a camo onsie, but not hunting camo, i wanted army camo. but this hat was soo cute with how big the bill is....

Teagan with a Bear. She is our little bear tamer!

mommy and Teagan with the Bear. Teagan showed me how to tame him so we could get close. She is a natural.

First pitstop

We stayed at the super 8 in Lebanon, MO. this is teagan outside since we didnt take any pics inside.
Posing on the curb.

We ate at this chineese resataurante and had the buffet. Teagan had a beer to pass the time!

Needless to say she is much like her father and enjoyed her chineese beer.
